What I bought: Papemelroti Earrings
Papemelroti - a brand you well know for their hand-made products. It’s timeless. We dig the carefully written Bible proverbs or inspirational messages on sheets of paper and cards. If you take time to visit their stores, they have other quirky finds that you wouldn’t thought they sell. I made a trip to the Gateway Mall branch to see if there was something new.
On their website, they have a page of the existing earring designs.

Papemelroti also has necklaces, bracelets, watches and rings. Below are what they call Stud Glaze earrings.

I have another earring which I call ‘Bright Idea’.

They have Gold colored medium sized backs and they don’t feel loose at all. These earrings are only ₱ 49 a pair.

Alexa Chung Satchel Replicas & Alternatives

I have a thing for Satchels. It doesn’t matter if it is branded or not, as long as it holds everything I put in my bag. Mulberry’s Alexa Chung Satchel (Large) caught my eye and it’s whopping $1,250 (roughly ₱53,000) price tag. I kept looking for similar bags since no one really shells out 50K for a bag unless of course you’re a celebrity and some sort of millionaire. I saw replicas in Multiply, Greenhills Shopping Centre and online shops selling it for as low as ₱1,500 and as high as ₱2,500, which is not bad at all since its your wallet’s friend.
I also saw some alternatives to the satchel-briefcase.

Top Shop’s Medium Leather Buckle Satchel - $100 (₱ 4,291) - Color: Tan

Alexa Chung Satchel (Replica) - $35 (₱ 1,500) - Color: Tan

Korea Style Multifunction Bag Brown - $10.54 (₱ 452)- Color: Tan
Product Descriptions are available in the websites. There is an actual photo of the AC Replica on the link via Facebook. Just to be sure, raid the bazaars and Greenhills. Number 3 has product reviews if you scrolled down the website page a bit more past the blurry additional photos.
Greenhills had always been a tiangge heaven for those opting for cheaper but still fashionable items. You can find anything there: bags, shoes, clothes, accessories, dry goods and even home furnitures. It isn’t discouraging to go to GH because everyone shops there. And by everyone I mean everyone: from Filipino celebrities, foreigners who come by the country, and everyday folk. It also attracts pick pockets on a daily basis, so put your wallets in your front pockets. :)
Remember: You get what you pay for.
Love, B
